Preferences
We prefer 3D Solid Models when available. Any 2D drawings accompanying a 3D solid are ideally supplied in a PDF format. Where 3D data is not available, please supply the 2D geometry in a CAD format. If supplying a part design for a mold or die which was modeled in SolidWorks, it is advantageous for all if the file can be left in its native format. A CAD file can save you money versus paper, fax, or PDF!
